Numerous other changes are also present in this update, though they're generally minor. That should make each of those more desirable options if you're insistent on dealing death from mid-air. Three weapon perks now provide an airborne effecitveness boost-Air Assault gives +10 at all times (on top of its existing, low-health bonus), Extended Mag gives +10, and Steady Rounds gives +7. The airborne penalty on all primary weapons has been reduced, with specifics varying by weapon. Glaives get a bit of love in PvP, as special ammo bricks will now provide two rounds instead of one, and auto rifles get a slight body shot damage boost.Īs for airborne effectiveness, Bungie previously outlined how it planned to make changes to this system from earlier in the season.
